DJI’s SkyPixel 2020 Drone Contest Open for Entries

No matter what type of aerial photography or videography you shoot, SkyPixel’s 2020 drone contest may be a cool place to submit images, and maybe even win a new drone.  The drone photo-sharing community that is affiliated with DJI is back for its 5th year, now accepting entries into its competition.  Prizes worth over $100,000 combined are up for grabs, including a DJI Mavic 2 Pro and more.

The SkyPixel 2020 Drone Photo Contest is accepting entries until February 2, 2020 and has added a new category, “Aerial Story”, bringing the total number of categories to 9.  There will be a total of 56 awards among those categories, totaling approximately $117,000 in value.

This year’s video categories are (30 seconds to 5 minutes in length):  Nature, Sport, Travel, and City

This year’s photo categories are:  Architecture, Portrait, Nature and Sport.

And Aerial Story category that was added this year requires a photo series of at least 5 photos.

The results will be announced on March 3, 2020.  Good luck to those of you who decide to enter!
